Acquired by The Artifact City Collection in 2025. Description: Redware terra cotta jug. Mineral deposits indicative of approximately 2000 years of underground burial. Small rim chips and surface loss. Small scrapes from a prodding rod used during the excavation process. No repairs or restorations found. Overall Outstanding condition. Christian theology includes the beliefs that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of a virgin named Mary, performed miracles, founded the Christian Church, died by crucifixion as a sacrifice to achieve atonement for sin, rose from the dead, and ascended into Heaven from where he will return.
