History: The deceased were lowered tied to boards through long shafts into tombs where workers arranged them in their final resting places, often alongside previous deceased family members. Tomb figures were placed with the fallen to provide companionship, guidance, and protection in the afterlife. Description: Female figure wearing headgear and large ear ornaments. Tied to a board with a pillow under her head. No repairs or restorations found. Extensive mineral deposits confirm approximately 2000 years of underground burial. Overall outstanding condition.
