Dimensions: 7 inches tall, 3 ¾ inches wide, weighs 130 grams. History: The deceased were lowered tied to boards through long shafts into tombs where workers arranged the bodies in their final resting places, often alongside previously interred family members. Tomb figures were placed with the fallen to provide companionship, guidance, and protection in the afterlife.Description: Female shaft tomb figure wearing a headwrap, arm bands, and a fancy necklace. Arms folded behind her back. No repairs or restorations found. Overall Outstanding condition. Manganese Dioxide Reactivity Test Results: 40% hydrogen peroxide was applied to multiple manganese blooms that resulted in a chemical reaction confirming approximately 2000 years of underground burial.
