History: The deceased were lowered tied to boards through long shafts into tombs where workers arranged them in their final resting places, often alongside previous deceased family members. Tomb figures were placed with the fallen to provide companionship, guidance, and protection in the afterlife. Description: Male Shaman figure with shoulder nodes, wearing headgear, large ear ornaments, and a loin cloth with tassels. No repairs or restorations found.
